Newprinet Covers Font Makers’ Joint Exhibit at Tokyo Game Show 2026,
Featuring Shachihata’s Introduction of SIGNED SOUND

 

On September 27, 2026, Newprinet, a Japanese printing-industry news site, published an article on the joint exhibit held by five font makers at Tokyo Game Show 2026 (TGS2026). The article notes that Shachihata Inc. introduced SIGNED SOUND, the service it offers jointly with Evixar Inc.

According to the article, Morisawa Inc., RICOH PFU Computing Inc., DynaComware Corp., Iwata Corporation, and Shachihata Inc. ran a joint stamp-rally event during the TGS business days on September 17 and 18. Alongside its brush-script font service “J-Font.com,” Shachihata presented SIGNED SOUND, which embeds invisible, inaudible marks directly into a content’s audio. Building on this technology, Shachihata is proposing fan merchandise such as sound-synchronized penlights and sound-synchronized acrylic stands that change their lighting in time with the audio. As the article explains, having every light respond to the venue or stream audio at once not only heightens the sense of unity at live events, but also lets viewers of live streams and archived videos share the same lighting effects.

SIGNED SOUND is a third-party audio and video content certification service jointly offered by Shachihata Inc. and Evixar Inc. Shachihata serves as the issuing authority for provenance certificates and operates the platform, while Evixar provides its proprietary acoustic identification technologies — including acoustic watermarking and acoustic fingerprinting.
