2026年9月8日、株式会社インプレスが運営するIT専門メディア『IT Leaders』に、9月2日に発表されたシヤチハタ株式会社・弊社エヴィクサー・サイバートラスト株式会社3社共同プレスリリース「来歴検証サービス『SIGNED SOUND』へのC2PA署名主体確認機能の実装」に関する記事が掲載されました。

IT Leaders Covers Three-Company Announcement of
C2PA Signer Verification in SIGNED SOUND

 

On September 8, 2026, IT Leaders, an IT-focused online media outlet operated by Impress Corporation, published an article covering the September 2 joint announcement by Shachihata Inc., Evixar Inc., and Cybertrust Japan Co., Ltd. on the implementation of C2PA signer verification in their content-provenance service SIGNED SOUND.

The article introduces how SIGNED SOUND combines Evixar’s acoustic identification technology (C2PA soft binding — acoustic watermarking and acoustic fingerprinting) with Cybertrust’s digital certificate service (iTrust Certificate for C2PA) and time-stamping to enable verification of “who signed the audio content, and when.” It explains that provenance metadata (C2PA manifests) has historically been attached to the file itself and therefore lost through distribution and re-encoding — and that by combining soft binding via acoustic identification, provenance can now be re-associated from the audio itself even after post-distribution processing, enabling authenticity checks against the registered original.

SIGNED SOUND is a third-party audio and video content certification service jointly offered by Shachihata Inc. and Evixar Inc. Shachihata serves as the issuing authority for provenance certificates and operates the platform, while Evixar provides its proprietary acoustic identification technologies — including acoustic watermarking and acoustic fingerprinting. In this newly added capability, Cybertrust Japan provides the digital certificates and time-stamping that enable C2PA signer verification.
